Thorens TAS 1600 Moving Coil Cartridge
The newly developed Thorens TAS 1600 cartridge is a Japanese made low output MC that was specially developed for the Thorens TD 1600 and TD 1601. With an output voltage of 0.4 millivolts at 5.5 cm/s, it delivers sufficient levels to harmonize with common phono preamplifiers. With an internal resistance of 12 ohms, it feels in good hands at a terminating resistor of > 100 ohms. At the end of a massive boron cantilever sits a fine diamond with a line-contact cut, which elicits every musical fineness of the record groove.
T+A Power Bar 2+5 HD Power Conditioner
This distribution panel has two sockets for analogue and five sockets for digital devices. The effect of mains leads and – especially – mains distribution panels is very considerable, and is often drastically underestimated. Very high currents can flow in a distribution panel, potentially generating powerful magnetic fields. For this reason T+A Power Bars are made of pure, high-quality aluminium throughout. The main case is produced using a sophisticated extrusion tool, is extremely rugged and rigid.

The basic design philosophy stems from the MP 3000 HV, but the MP 3100 HV is now capable of carrying out the full signal processing of DSD bitstream data in addition to processing PCM data to impeccable standards. This extensive development was necessitated by the machine’s new integral disc mechanism: an SACD drive which is a completely new development, featuring the very latest decoder, and capable of reading files at the highest possible quality.

Thorens TP 92 OEM I 9″ Tonearm
The Thorens TP 92 OEM tonearm is designed specifically for Thorens turntables. The tonearm is based on an innovative zero-stick anti-displacement magnetic system and an ultra-low friction bearing. The tonearm arm is made of rolled aluminum using RMR (Reduced Modal Resonance) technology, with a brass counterweight at the end of the arm arm with double decoupling. The special design ensures that the center of gravity of the tonearm is on the same level with the pen.
