Pioneering a better headphone experience
Dan Clark Audio, formally known as MrSpeakers, was founded almost in 2012 by Dan Clark. In the late 1990’s, Dan started work as a loudspeaker design consultant for several high-end audio companies, developing products including the critically acclaimed Platinum Audio Series 2 loudspeakers.
In April 2012 he founded MrSpeakers to bring his ideas to market. Initially, MrSpeakers modified headphones made by other vendors for resale, a solution that allowed Dan to fund development of his own ground-up designs without incurring debt or seeking funding from investors.
In 2019 MrSpeakers became Dan Clark Audio, and today is an industry leader in both open and closed planar headphones.
