Originally released as a limited edition three-CD set in 1997, Enya\u2019s \u2018A Box of Dreams\u2019 has become a must-have collector\u2019s item among fans. 25 years later, \u2018A Box of Dreams\u2019 will receive a long-awaited reissue when it is released on vinyl for the very first time, within a beautifully designed six-disc eco-friendly box set which has been manufactured using 100% recycled board and vinyl. The album will be released on June 23rd and is now available to pre-order HERE. \u2018A Box of Dreams\u2019 compiles highlights from the first half of Enya\u2019s storied career, spanning selections from her self-titled debut album (later reissued and expanded as \u2018The Celts\u2019) through to the single \u2018Only If\u2026\u2019 which had just been released and featured on her first \u2018best of\u2019 \u2018Paint The Sky With Stars\u2019. \u2018A Box of Dreams\u2019 originally featured three thematically arranged discs, each of which is now split between three double-vinyl records: – \u2018Oceans\u2019 showcases the most uplifting moments from Enya\u2019s rich catalogue of work, starting with the #1 smash and instant classic \u2018Orinoco Flow\u2019 and voyaging through other hits (including \u2018Anywhere Is\u2019, \u2018Book of Days\u2019 and \u2018Caribbean Blue\u2019) and fan favourites (such as \u2018The Longships\u2019, \u2018Ebudae\u2019 and \u2018Pax Deorum\u2019). – \u2018Clouds\u2019 curates a selection of Enya\u2019s most beautifully beguiling instrumentals as well compositions in which her voice provides an ambient texture to the production, including the title tracks from \u2018Watermark\u2019, \u2018Shepherd Moons\u2019 and \u2018The Memory of Trees\u2019. – \u2018Stars\u2019 features Enya\u2019s wondrously choral and meditative ballads, including the hit single \u2018Evening Falls\u2019, the hymnal \u2018Athair Ar Neamh\u2019 and the evocative, yet relatively undiscovered \u2018Exile\u2019. In essence, \u2018A Box of Dreams\u2019 provides a glimpse into the variety of inspiring compositions created by the triumvirate: Enya, alongside producer Nicky Ryan and lyricist Roma Ryan. Their hallmarks are infused throughout every moment of the collection, weaving together Enya\u2019s elegant vocal majesty alongside innovative, intricately layered production and lyrics which unite the poetic with the philosophical. This box set features new liner notes from Roma and Nicky Ryan, including a series of short poems by Roma Ryan. In addition, \u2018A Box of Dreams\u2019 is also the first Enya release to be pressed using recycled vinyl. The manufacturing process creates a randomly generated, dark-hued marble effect on each disc, which also means that each individual record is utterly unique.<\/p>\n
