Power Сables
Power cables connect your audio components to the mains power supply and help create a stable foundation for the entire hi-fi system. A well-chosen power cable should provide reliable contact, correct current delivery and safe everyday operation.
Power cables are especially important for amplifiers, source components, DACs, streamers and power conditioners. For a complete cable setup, combine them with suitable Speaker Cables, Interconnect Cables and Power Supplies, Controllers, and Conditioners.

How to Choose Power Cables
A good power cable should match the component it powers, provide secure contact and fit your system layout. Focus on connector quality, correct length, current requirements and clean routing before chasing more advanced upgrades.
Power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers, DACs, streamers and power conditioners can have different power requirements. Choose a cable that is suitable for the type of component and its current demand.
Most hi-fi components use IEC power connectors, but plug quality and mechanical fit still matter. A secure connection helps avoid loose contacts and unreliable operation.
Choose a length that allows comfortable placement without tight bends or tension. Avoid unnecessarily long power cables, especially in compact systems with multiple components.
Where possible, avoid running power cables directly alongside low-level signal cables. Clean routing helps reduce unwanted noise and makes the system easier to service.
Power cables work best as part of a stable power setup. In more advanced systems, they can be combined with suitable Power Supplies, Controllers, and Conditioners for cleaner distribution, filtering and system-wide power management.
Start with the most important components first, such as the amplifier, DAC or power conditioner. A structured upgrade path makes it easier to hear real improvements and avoid unnecessary spending.
