This extraordinary edition combines masterful craftsmanship with a passion for music and vinyl.
Overview
At the heart of this turntable is a body made of high-density wood fiber, designed in the shape of an electric guitar – a clear sign of the close collaboration with Al Di Meola himself. Inside, it features the finest Clearaudio technology, making the turntable a true high-end device.
The platter is driven by a precision flat belt that runs through the innovative Tacho Speed Control (TSC). This technology monitors the speed in real-time and automatically adjusts to changes in factors such as belt tension or temperature fluctuations. Additionally, the speed is automatically calibrated with each restart – ensuring optimal performance at all times.
To avoid vibrations and unwanted interference, the motor is decoupled using the Innovative Motor Suspension (IMS). This technology, borrowed from the renowned Clearaudio Reference Jubilee turntable, prevents vibrations from being transferred to the chassis, ensuring the sound remains clear and unadulterated.
Special attention has been paid to the design: the volume control of the electric guitar has been transformed into a multifunctional knob. With a simple press of the button, the turntable starts, the speed switches between 33 1/3 and 45 RPM, or the device is put into standby mode. In calibration mode, the knob is used to finely adjust the speed by turning it.
The design of the Celebrity turntable is rounded off by a special version of the Profiler tonearm and a specially developed MM cartridge, also bearing the name Celebrity. This unique turntable is available in black or wood finish (real rosewood veneer).
The package is limited to 1,000 pieces and comes with a numbered special release album by Al Di Meola and a guitar pick – a true collector’s item for music lovers and vinyl enthusiasts.
