The Midex RQ uses Audio Physic\u2019s RECOTec diaphragm technology in the woofer, midrange and tweeter sections. RECOTec combines a carbon-fibre mesh with a high-purity polypropylene matrix, creating a diaphragm with high rigidity, low resonance and excellent internal damping.<\/p>\n
Unlike conventional composite structures, RECOTec is produced without additional adhesives or synthetic resins in the diaphragm structure. Fifth-Generation HHCT V Tweeter<\/h3>\n

Two 7-Inch RECOTec Woofers<\/h3>\n
Low frequencies are handled by two 180 mm \/ 7-inch woofers equipped with RECOTec diaphragms and Audio Physic\u2019s Double Surround construction. Their placement above and below the midrange and tweeter section helps distribute bass energy more evenly in the listening room.<\/p>\n
This arrangement contributes to controlled, articulate low-frequency reproduction while allowing the comparatively narrow Midex RQ cabinet to produce bass extension down to 30 Hz.<\/p>\n
Q-SET Bass Adjustment<\/h3>\n
The Midex RQ adds Audio Physic\u2019s Q-SET technology, allowing the bass response to be adjusted from the rear of the loudspeaker to suit its position in the room.<\/p>\n

Its structure provides mechanical reinforcement while also diffusing internally radiated sound.<\/p>\n
Honeycomb Sandwich Board is also used in the cabinet structure. Compared with conventional MDF, the material provides high rigidity with lower mass and reduced susceptibility to unwanted resonance.<\/p>\n

As part of Audio Physic\u2019s Reference Line, the Midex RQ applies vibration-control principles throughout the loudspeaker. The crossover network and connection terminal are mechanically isolated to reduce the influence of unwanted vibration on sensitive electrical components.<\/p>\n
