Nordost QLINE Ground Wire is part of Nordost’s QRT system optimisation range and is designed for grounding-related connections within a high-performance audio system.

In a resolving hi-fi system, grounding and power distribution can influence perceived noise, clarity, timing and overall system coherence. QLINE Ground Wire is intended for use where a dedicated grounding connection is required between compatible Nordost QRT products and the system’s grounding infrastructure.

QLINE Ground Wire can be considered together with Nordost QBASE power distribution units, QKORE grounding products and other QRT system optimisation solutions. It is not a conventional signal cable or mains power cable, but a specialised grounding wire for system noise-control applications.

The correct grounding setup depends on the system layout, power distribution, connected components and available grounding points. Grounding products should be selected and connected carefully, especially in systems with multiple source components, DACs, streamers, preamplifiers, amplifiers and phono stages.

For best results, QLINE Ground Wire should be considered as part of the full power and grounding architecture: wall socket, power distribution, QBASE, QKORE, power cables, component placement and cable routing.

Nordost QLINE Ground Wire is most relevant in systems where power distribution and grounding are already being refined. For simpler systems, improving the main power distribution, power cables or component setup may be the more practical first step.
