The Bowers & Wilkins HTM81 D5 is the flagship center channel speaker of the 800 Series Diamond D5, engineered to deliver extraordinary dialogue clarity, lifelike dynamics and exceptional precision in reference-grade home cinema systems.
Designed to complement the flagship 801 D5 and 802 D5 floorstanding loudspeakers, the HTM81 D5 combines the advanced acoustic technologies of the 800 Series Diamond with a powerful three-way configuration. It reproduces voices, music and cinematic effects with remarkable transparency, scale and authority.
Diamond Dome Tweeter
The 25mm Diamond Dome tweeter is housed in Bowers & Wilkins’ distinctive Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top assembly. Its exceptionally rigid and lightweight diaphragm delivers outstanding high-frequency resolution, while the mechanically isolated enclosure helps minimise unwanted vibrations and interference.
Continuum Cone Midrange
A dedicated 150mm Continuum Cone FST midrange driver with Biomimetic Suspension reproduces dialogue and vocals with exceptional realism. Its decoupled construction and advanced Anti-Resonance Plug help reduce coloration and preserve the subtle details that make voices sound natural and convincing.
Twin 200mm Aerofoil Bass Drivers
Two substantial 200mm Aerofoil bass drivers deliver powerful, controlled low frequencies and impressive dynamic impact. Their advanced cone construction provides the rigidity and precision required to reproduce demanding movie soundtracks without sacrificing clarity.
Advanced Cabinet Engineering
