Diamond Dome Tweeter
The 25mm Diamond Dome tweeter is housed in the distinctive Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top assembly. Its exceptionally rigid diamond diaphragm delivers outstanding high-frequency precision and clarity, while the mechanically isolated aluminium housing helps minimise unwanted vibrations and resonance.
The result is exceptional resolution, openness and a natural sense of space, allowing subtle details in recordings to emerge with remarkable accuracy.
Continuum Cone Bass/Midrange Driver
A dedicated 165mm Continuum Cone bass/midrange driver reproduces vocals and instruments with impressive transparency and tonal accuracy. The cone’s advanced construction helps reduce unwanted resonances, while the Anti-Resonance Plug contributes to controlled and detailed sound reproduction.
Working together with the Diamond Dome tweeter, the Continuum driver creates a coherent and precisely focused stereo image.
Advanced Cabinet Engineering
The 805 D5 features Bowers & Wilkins’ distinctive Reverse-Wrap cabinet, designed to minimise unwanted cabinet reflections and improve acoustic performance.
An enhanced Matrix bracing system increases cabinet rigidity and reduces unwanted resonance, helping the loudspeaker maintain exceptional clarity and precision even during demanding musical passages.
