Purifi EIGENTAKT technology with innovative EEC circuit
Purifi EIGENTAKT technology is the result of extensive research addressing persistent challenges in Class D amplifiers. The patented EIGENTAKT ErrorCorrection (EEC) ensures ultra-high, full-output loop gain (>75dB) in the entire audio band. This produces extremely low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) at any frequency and any power level, as well as unrivaled low Inter Modulation Distortion (IMD), leading to a highly resolved and stable stereo image unmatched by any amplifier technology or operating class. The result is an incredibly neutral sound performance, with negligible audible noise and no sonic fingerprint.
Highly efficient PowerPerfect power supply
8 Purifi amplifiers with a combined 3.2 kilowatts of output power and even higher peak power represent extremely high challenges for the power supply, which is often a limiting factor with common multichannel amplifiers. PowerPerfect by Lyngdorf Audio is a highly efficient and advanced power supply. With its integrated Channel Balancing Technology and several protection systems, it provides the best basis for each channel, even with all channels driven. It is so power-efficient and has such a low idle power consumption that the enclosure sufficiently becomes the heatsink, with no noisy fans required. The mains power is decoupled by design, requiring no external power conditioner. It safeguards the speakers from mains-generated noise, represents a gentle load to the mains, and does not introduce noise to other equipment.

Thanks to Purifi EIGENTAKT combined with PowerPerfect, the performance of the MXA-8400 is maintained across all volume levels and the entire audio frequency range. Even when operating over its maximum specifications, clipping in the output stage will be recovered in both voltage and current domains. It is immune to out-of-band noise on the input signal and insensitive to difficult speaker loads, always maintaining a flat frequency response. The output channels are bridgeable, delivering up to 4 x 800 watt to drive even the most demanding loudspeakers effortlessly.
