So it was a logical conclusion that the Reference Center would be equipped with the latest generation of the Hyper Holographic (HHC-III) midrange and tweeter. These custom-made Audio Physic drivers guarantee first-class playback quality and perfect speech intelligibility – even with highly complex sound and movie sequences. Low and mid-frequencies are reproduced by two HHCM-III drivers, allowing quiet passages to sound sovereign and display higher volume levels without distortion. Whether you enjoy movies via a projector and screen setup or via a flat-screen TV, the Reference Center always strikes a good figure. In a home theater with projection, the optionally available black fabric upholstery reduces annoying light reflections on the housing. In combination with flat screens, the room ambiance probably plays more of a role, which is why the Reference Center is available in various glass surfaces.

Glass is a component within the three-layer sandwich design of the case that Audio Physic successfully introduced into several speaker models several years ago. The cabinet is therefore stiffer, while disturbing partial vibrations are minimized even further. This sandwich construction does not even produce the kind of sound disruptive influences that are generally associated with glass.
