Nordost Tyr 2 USB 2.0 Cable belongs to the Nordost Norse 2 series and is designed for high-performance digital audio connections between USB sources and compatible DACs.
USB audio is widely used in modern hi-fi systems to connect computers, music servers, streamers and digital transports to external digital-to-analog converters. The USB-A to USB-B configuration is one of the most common and practical solutions for connecting a source component to a USB DAC.
Tyr 2 sits above Frey 2 in the Norse 2 range and is intended for highly resolving systems where digital signal stability, low noise and precise integration between source and DAC are critical. It is a serious upgrade for systems that already have strong core components and a well-developed cable and power foundation.
