Silent Angel Bonn NX Audio Network Switch is a high-performance network switch designed for advanced digital audio systems where streaming quality, timing stability and noise control are critical. It is positioned above the Bonn N8 and Bonn N8 Pro as a more serious solution for demanding network-based hi-fi systems.
Unlike a conventional IT network switch, the Bonn NX is engineered specifically for audio use. It features 8 gold-plated Gigabit Ethernet ports, Silent Angel’s 25MHz clock architecture, internal low-noise power design, EMI noise absorption and a dedicated grounding connection to help create a cleaner and more stable network environment.
The Bonn NX can operate with its internal high-precision TCXO clock or be connected to an external 25MHz word clock for more advanced digital audio systems. This makes it a natural partner for high-quality streamers, music servers, DACs, network transports and reference-level streaming setups.
For listeners building systems around brands such as Lumin, Aurender, Innuos, Hegel, Mola Mola or other serious digital sources, the Bonn NX offers a more refined network platform than entry-level switches. It is intended for systems where the source and DAC are already capable enough to reveal improvements in the supporting digital infrastructure.
