Focal Aria SR900 is a compact 2-way bipolar surround speaker designed to bring the natural, detailed sound of the Aria Evo X range to immersive home cinema systems. Two 5-inch Flax bass/midrange drivers are combined with two aluminium/magnesium TNF inverted-dome tweeters to provide precise spatial effects, smooth treble and excellent tonal integration with the other Aria Evo X loudspeakers.

Its bipolar configuration uses drivers positioned to create broad, enveloping sound dispersion, helping surround effects integrate naturally into the listening space rather than drawing attention to an individual speaker location.

Flax Cone Technology
Two 5-inch (13 cm) bass/midrange drivers use Focal’s proprietary Flax sandwich cones. The lightweight yet rigid construction combines high-quality flax fibres between thin layers of fiberglass, providing the combination of dynamics, damping and neutrality required for natural midrange reproduction and controlled bass.
The Flax technology also helps maintain consistent tonal character between the SR900 and the main loudspeakers of the Aria Evo X system.
Dual TNF Tweeters
High frequencies are reproduced by two 1-inch aluminium/magnesium TNF inverted-dome tweeters. Their Poron suspension and dedicated waveguides are designed to provide smooth treble reproduction together with carefully controlled directivity.
This broad dispersion is especially useful for surround channels, where a spacious and coherent sound field is generally preferable to a narrowly focused point source.
Bipolar Surround Design
