Ci5160REF-THX
The Ci5160REF-THX is engineered with a massive aluminium baffle to eliminate vibration and is the perfect platform for the 125mm (5 inch) MF/HF Uni-Q driver array with 25mm (1 inch) vented aluminium dome tweeter and four 160mm woofers.
Uni-Q driver array
At the heart of the Ci5160REF-THX is the 11th generation of the KEF’s signature innovation: the Uni-Q point source MF/HF driver array. With a 25mm vented aluminium dome tweeter at the exact acoustic center of a 125mm mid-range driver, both act as a single source that floods the listening space evenly with a flawless natural sound field.
Bass drivers
Like everything else about THE REFERENCE, the bespoke 160mm LF driver optimized for use in-wall, is a class apart. With a massive vented magnet assembly and a large aluminium wire voice coil driving an exceptionally light, stiff and strong alloy cone, the dynamics and power handling are superb.
