Nirvana – In Utero is presented here as the 30th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition, released on 27 October 2023 as an extensive 8LP vinyl box set.
Originally released in 1993, In Utero became Nirvana’s final studio album and remains one of the most important alternative rock records of the 1990s. Raw, direct and emotionally intense, it includes some of the band’s most recognisable tracks, including Heart-Shaped Box, Rape Me, Pennyroyal Tea, All Apologies and Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle.
This Super Deluxe vinyl box set includes the newly remastered original album together with five B-sides and bonus tracks, plus two complete live concerts from Nirvana’s final touring period: Live in Los Angeles 1993 and Live in Seattle 1994. The set also includes additional live material from the 1993–1994 tour.
Across the full 8LP box, the edition contains 72 tracks in total, including 53 previously unreleased recordings. It is designed as a substantial collector’s edition for fans who want both the original album and a deeper document of Nirvana’s final era.
The package includes eight 180 g vinyl records, a 48-page hardcover book and a slipcase with a removable acrylic panel featuring the In Utero angel artwork.
