The T+A MP 200 was developed with the aim of combining compact design and a wide range of sources. From Bluetooth and CD to state-of-the-art streaming and radio playback, it utilizes all sources to their fullest potential. Thus, the MP 200 not only allows FM, FM-HD and DAB+ playback, but also offers convenient streaming from mobile devices and local network storage. Likewise, external digital sources benefit from its excellent signal processing.
Overview
Although the MP 200 harmonizes with any D/A converter, it was designed to achieve special synergies with the DAC 200 and HA 200 series converters: The T+A SYS Link exchanges control data, routes audio signals optimally and, when used with the T+A MusicNavigator App, allows the MP 200 to become the command center of the complete system.
Radio & CD
In addition to the Internet radio access built into the streaming client, the MP 200 offers three other radio access points: FM, FM-HD and DAB+. For its excellent sound quality is responsible not only the high sensitivity to incoming signals, but especially the used digital intermediate frequency, demodulation and stereo decoder output stages. Only through the intelligent combination of all these features, the most classic of all signal sources sounds excellent on both cable and antennas.
Although digital streaming content has gained a dominant position, we are constantly developing our CD drives: only in this way are we able to give our customers the freedom to choose their preferred sources without restrictions. The slot drive installed in the MP 200 has been specially designed to fit the dimensions in the MP 200 and fits seamlessly into the cabinet. With its short access times and advanced error correction, it plays content almost immediately after inserting the CD, completely without playback errors.
Digital inputs
The MP 200’s Digital Connecting Board features two digital S/P DIF and one optical input, which allow the connection of any external sources – such as set-top boxes, drives and players. An additional S/P DIF output is available. The transmission and processing is in HD quality.
Control
The MP 200 is where all app control is channeled. From accessing streaming services, radio stations to setting the smallest details of each connected device: The MP 200 and the T+AMusicNavigator APP developed in Herford allow complete control, conveniently through iOS or Android devices. The front panel has been designed with ergonomics in mind, using an intelligent combination of direct access keys and a rotary/push dial.
