The new Thorens TD 404 DD is now on demo in our Tabasalu showroom — paired with the optional TPN 124 linear power supply.
Demo Highlights

The new Thorens TD 404 DD has joined our analogue demo setup at Hi-Fi Market. Our turntable is paired with the optional TPN 124 linear power supply and is already being tried in several different systems around the showroom.

A Modern Direct-Drive Thorens

The TD 404 DD brings some of the ideas of the flagship TD 124 DD into a more accessible modern turntable, including direct drive, the TP 160 tonearm and electronic e-Lift with auto-stop. Rather than going through the specifications, we are much more interested in hearing how it behaves in real systems.

For our first listening sessions we have been using the TD 404 DD with the Hegel V10 phono preamplifier and H600 integrated amplifier, as well as through the configurable MM/MC phono stage built into the MOON 791:
