The BDA-3.14 multi-function DAC introduces a remarkable set of features to Bryston’s highly acclaimed BDA-3 DAC platform. The BDA-3.14 offers the exceptional performance and unparalleled build quality that music enthusiasts have come to associate with Bryston.

Retaining all the features of the award-winning BDA-3, the Bryston BDA-3.14 enhances streaming capabilities through an integrated Raspberry Pi. This effectively merges the functionalities of the BDA-3 and the BDP-Pi, resulting in a fully operational DAC that can function independently for streaming your preferred audio content.

The BDP component of the BDA-3.14 is capable of playing high-resolution music from a variety of your favorite sources, including Qobuz, Tidal, USB-connected drives, network-attached storage, and even Roon. With support for high-resolution PCM up to 192/24, your music will achieve unprecedented clarity and detail. Additionally, the digital volume control offers preamp functionality.

The BDA-3.14 provides streaming functionality through an integrated BDP music player, which allows access to network-connected storage and USB drives, in addition to streaming services like Qobuz, Tidal, Roon, and Internet radio.

The digital connection between the internal music player and the DAC is facilitated by the I2S protocol, a high-quality interface standard designed for linking digital audio devices, ensuring the preservation of audio and clock data with nearly no errors.

The BDA-3.14 is equipped with a digital volume control, allowing users to connect directly to an amplifier. An enhanced version of Bryston’s Manic Moose user interface for smartphones, tablets, and computers offers users intuitive management of all features.

The player firmware has been upgraded to ensure comprehensive control over the entire system, including the playback of the internal player, input switching for accessing other connected digital sources, and volume control, enabling seamless integration of the BDA-3.14 into your system without the need for a separate preamplifier.
