Love Scenes is a studio album by Canadian jazz singer and pianist Diana Krall. Originally released in 1997, it is one of her classic early Verve albums, built around a small jazz trio setting with intimate vocals, elegant piano phrasing and understated acoustic accompaniment.
This 2LP edition includes All Or Nothing At All, Peel Me A Grape, I Don’t Know Enough About You, I Don’t Stand A Ghost Of A Chance With You, You’re Getting To Be A Habit With Me, Gentle Rain, How Deep Is The Ocean, My Love Is, Garden In The Rain, That Old Feeling, I Could Write A Book and I Can’t Give You Anything But Love. The album is intimate, relaxed and beautifully focused on voice, piano, guitar and bass.
This 2LP 180 gram vinyl reissue was released by Verve on 23 February 2021. The edition presents Love Scenes across two records, giving the quiet trio arrangements and Diana Krall’s close vocal delivery more space on vinyl.
