Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble – In Step Analogue Productions LP

Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble – In Step is the landmark 1989 album that captured Vaughan at one of the strongest creative points of his career. Blending blues, rock and soul with remarkable confidence, the record combines his explosive guitar playing with increasingly personal and mature songwriting.

The album includes some of Vaughan’s best-known recordings, including The House Is Rockin’, Crossfire, Tightrope, Wall of Denial and the atmospheric instrumental Riviera Paradise.

This audiophile edition from Analogue Productions was mastered by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound. The lacquers were cut using the VMS 80 cutting lathe, and the record was pressed at Quality Record Pressings (QRP).

The combination of carefully executed mastering and premium QRP pressing gives Vaughan’s guitar exceptional presence, dynamics and tonal weight while preserving the energy and immediacy that define the original recording.
