The Aurender ACS10 Signature Content Server / Ripper combines automatic lossless CD ripping, advanced metadata and library management, massive dual-HDD storage and centralised music sharing for multiple Aurender systems. It can also operate as a standalone Roon Ready digital transport, with a dedicated isolated USB Audio output supporting PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and native DSD512.
Aurender ACS10 Signature Content Server / Ripper
The Aurender ACS10 is a high-performance content server, automatic CD ripper, digital transport and advanced music library management system designed for large digital collections. It brings together secure internal storage, metadata editing, network library sharing and Aurender’s dedicated USB Audio output in one purpose-built high-end component.
The ACS10 can operate as a standalone digital source connected directly to a compatible USB DAC, or as the central content server for one or more Aurender players on the same network. This makes it particularly suitable for music collectors with extensive libraries, multiple listening systems or a large CD collection that needs to be archived and organised without relying on a conventional computer.
Reference-Quality Automatic CD Ripping
A built-in drawer-loading optical drive allows CDs to be imported directly into the internal music library. Aurender’s customised ripping engine uses error detection and correction to create accurate lossless copies in FLAC, WAV or AIFF format.
Album information and artwork are retrieved automatically, while ripping preferences and destination folders can be configured through the dedicated ACS Manager application. For larger archival projects, the ACS10 is compatible with the optional Acronova Nimbie AutoLoader, allowing multiple discs to be processed automatically.
Advanced Library and Metadata Management
The ACS Manager application provides detailed control over a large digital music collection directly from a compatible iOS or Android device. Users can edit metadata, change album artwork, identify duplicate files and move, rename, copy or delete music without using a separate computer.
This integrated approach makes it easier to maintain a consistent and accurately organised library, particularly when music has been collected from multiple sources or imported over many years.
Massive Dual-HDD Storage with RAID Mirroring
The ACS10 uses two internal hard drives and is supplied in a mirrored RAID 1 configuration, providing an additional level of protection if one of the drives fails. In RAID 1 mode, the second drive contains a duplicate of the primary music library.
The storage system can also be reconfigured to use the combined capacity of both drives when maximum library space is preferred. The standard configuration uses two 8TB drives, while larger special-order versions are available with up to two 14TB drives for a total installed capacity of 28TB.
Central Server Hub for Multiple Aurender Systems
The ACS10 can act as the central library for other Aurender players connected to the same local network. Music stored on the ACS10 can be accessed by Aurender components in different listening rooms without duplicating the complete library on every player.
By handling storage, file management and library-related processing centrally, the ACS10 can also reduce the number of background tasks performed by the Aurender player installed in the main listening system.
Dedicated Isolated USB Audio Output
When used as a standalone digital transport, the ACS10 connects to a compatible external DAC through Aurender’s dedicated USB Audio output. This port is physically and electrically isolated from the processor section to minimise the transfer of electrical noise through the USB connection.
The USB Audio output supports PCM resolutions up to 32-bit/384kHz, native DSD up to DSD512 and DSD128 through DoP. There are no analog outputs or internal digital-to-analog converter, so a compatible external DAC is required for audio playback.
Solid-State Caching Playback
Music selected for playback is transferred from the internal library drives to a dedicated NVMe solid-state drive. Playback then takes place from the SSD cache rather than directly from the mechanical storage drives, reducing drive activity and creating a more stable operating environment for digital audio processing.
Higher-capacity ACS10 configurations use increased system memory and a larger NVMe drive to support their expanded music libraries.
Linear Power Supply and Supercapacitor UPS
A fully linear power supply provides low-noise power for the processor, storage and digital audio circuitry. Aurender’s supercapacitor-based uninterruptible power supply protects the operating system and internal library if mains power is unexpectedly interrupted, allowing the ACS10 to shut down safely.
Flexible Network Connectivity
The rear panel includes one double-isolated Gigabit Ethernet port and two additional standard Gigabit LAN ports. The isolated connection uses two stages of transformer-based isolation to reduce electrical noise arriving through the network.
The additional Ethernet connections allow the ACS10 to function as a convenient network hub for another Aurender player or compatible network component. Music can also be played or imported from NAS storage, external USB hard drives and USB memory devices.
Aurender Conductor, ACS Manager and Roon Ready
The Aurender Conductor application provides playback control, library browsing and access to supported streaming services, while ACS Manager handles the more advanced ripping, metadata and file-management functions.
The ACS10 supports integrated access to TIDAL, Qobuz and Internet Radio, together with Spotify Connect and AirPlay. It is also Roon Ready through its digital output and can operate as a certified endpoint within a compatible Roon system.
Machined Aluminium Construction
The ACS10 is housed in a full-width machined aluminium chassis with a front-panel colour display and dedicated controls for playback and CD ripping. Its substantial construction, linear power supply and isolated digital output allow it to serve both as a practical library-management centre and as a high-quality digital source for a reference audio system.

Build a Digital Source System with Aurender
Aurender is designed for customers who treat the digital source as a serious hi-fi component. A well-chosen music server or network player can become the foundation of the whole system, especially when it is paired with a high-quality DAC, suitable digital cables, stable network infrastructure and carefully matched amplification. For systems with an external DAC, Aurender music servers and digital-output streamers are a strong choice. For customers who prefer a simpler one-box digital source, Aurender also offers models with built-in DAC sections and analogue outputs. This makes the brand suitable both for compact systems and for reference-level digital front ends.Recommended categories for building an Aurender-based system:- Music Servers - Network Players & Streamers - DACs - Network Audio - Digital Cables - Network CablesTo discuss the right Aurender solution for your system, contact us.
