Inicio represents Loewe’s entry into exclusive high-end passive loudspeakers. Designed and manufactured in Germany, every pair combines carefully selected materials, precise engineering and an exceptionally distinctive visual identity.

The compact cabinet is available with either an elegant walnut front or a silky matt white finish, complemented by titanium-coloured aluminium detailing. The result is a loudspeaker that works as both a serious audio component and a carefully considered part of the interior.

Purifi USHINDI Mid/Bass Driver

At the heart of Loewe Inicio is a 4-inch Purifi USHINDI mid/bass driver engineered for extremely low distortion and highly linear movement. Purifi NeutralSurround technology helps maintain consistent behaviour across the driver’s operating range, while the PermanentCore motor design supports clean and controlled reproduction even during demanding musical passages.

The result is a transparent and composed presentation that reveals fine textures, natural instrumental tone and subtle spatial information without adding an obvious character of its own.

Fast and Precise Air Motion Transformer

High frequencies are reproduced by a phase-neutral Air Motion Transformer tweeter with powerful neodymium magnets. Its lightweight folded diaphragm moves air rapidly and precisely, allowing Inicio to reproduce transients, voices and delicate upper-frequency detail with speed and clarity.

A substantial aluminium waveguide controls dispersion and helps integrate the tweeter smoothly with the mid/bass driver.

Compact Cabinet with Passive Radiators

Each speaker uses two additional 4-inch passive radiators alongside its active mid/bass driver. This arrangement extends low-frequency performance while retaining the compact dimensions and controlled behaviour of the enclosure.

With a specified frequency response extending down to approximately 45 Hz, Loewe Inicio is capable of producing a surprisingly complete and authoritative sound for a loudspeaker measuring only 30 centimetres high.

Flexible Bi-Wiring and Bi-Amping Connectivity

Gold-plated speaker terminals accept banana plugs and support both bi-wiring and bi-amping. This gives the owner greater flexibility when choosing amplification and configuring the system, while supplied bridge connections allow straightforward operation with a conventional stereo amplifier.

Premium Materials and Thoughtful Details

The removable magnetic grille provides a clean appearance without visible mounting points. With the grille removed, the aluminium waveguide and precisely arranged driver system become prominent elements of the design.

At 7.5 kg per speaker, Inicio has a substantial and reassuring construction despite its compact dimensions. Threaded mounting points also allow the speakers to be used with suitable stands, isolation supports or a dedicated fixing solution.
