Nordost QPOINT Resonance Synchronizer

Nordost QPOINT Resonance Synchronizer is part of Nordost’s QRT system optimisation range and is designed for use with hi-fi electronics, source components, amplifiers and digital audio systems.

Unlike a cable or conventional isolation accessory, QPOINT is an active resonance synchronizer. It is intended to be placed under or close to an audio component, where it works within its immediate proximity to support greater system coherence and timing.

QPOINT offers two operating modes, allowing users to choose between different sonic effects depending on the component and listening preference. This makes it suitable for use with a wide range of electronics, including solid-state and tube amplifiers, analog and digital source components, line stages, processors and streaming-related devices.

In a carefully matched system, QPOINT can be considered alongside other system optimisation tools such as vibration control, power conditioning, grounding solutions and network audio infrastructure. It is not a replacement for good components or correct setup, but a fine-tuning device for systems that are already capable of revealing small changes.

QPOINT can be used together with other Nordost QRT products and is especially relevant in systems where the listener is already working on lowering noise, improving timing and refining the overall musical structure of the system.

For best results, placement should be tested under or near different components while keeping ventilation unobstructed. Nordost recommends using QPOINT with suitable QRT power solutions, and in more advanced setups it may be combined with QSOURCE Linear Power Supply and QSOURCE DC Cable.
