QKORE1 is best suited to systems using Nordost QBASE or a compatible power distribution solution with a suitable grounding connection. If you want to ground individual audio components directly, QKORE3 or QKORE6 may be the more appropriate choice.
Nordost QKORE1 Ground Unit
Nordost QKORE1 Ground Unit is part of Nordost’s QRT system optimisation range and is designed as a passive parallel grounding device for high-performance audio systems.
QKORE1 is intended primarily for use with Nordost QBASE power distribution units. It provides a dedicated grounding point on the primary side of the power supply, helping support a cleaner and more stable system foundation.
In a resolving hi-fi system, unwanted noise and grounding-related issues can affect the perceived clarity, timing and coherence of the sound. QKORE1 is designed to provide an artificial clean earth reference for the power distribution side of the system.
This model is equipped with a single QBASE Ground binding post and is supplied for systems where grounding the power distribution unit is the main priority. It is especially relevant when QBASE is used as part of a carefully planned power and cabling setup.
QKORE1 can be considered together with suitable power cables, power distribution, conditioning solutions and Nordost QRT products. It is not a replacement for the protective earth in the electrical installation, but a specialised parallel grounding solution for audio system optimisation.
