HHCT-TPCD Carbon Cone Tweeter
High frequencies are reproduced by Audio Physic’s 45 mm HHCT-TPCD cone tweeter. Its Thin Ply Carbon Diaphragm uses an advanced carbon material originally developed for demanding aerospace and motorsport applications.
The extremely thin and lightweight carbon structure combines high rigidity with carefully controlled resonance behaviour. This allows the tweeter to react rapidly to musical signals and reproduce fine transient information, spatial detail and upper-frequency harmonics with exceptional precision.
The diaphragm remains stable even at elevated listening levels, helping Stream 1 maintain a clean, transparent and uncoloured presentation without harshness or excessive brightness.
180 mm Carbon-Kevlar Midwoofer
A 180 mm bass-midrange driver handles both the low frequencies and the critical vocal and instrumental range. Its diaphragm combines the rigidity of carbon fibre with the natural damping properties of Kevlar.
This Carbon-Kevlar construction allows the driver to reproduce small signal variations accurately while controlling unwanted resonances. Voices retain their natural presence and texture, instruments are clearly defined, and bass remains powerful, articulate and well controlled.
The combination of the lightweight carbon tweeter and the large Carbon-Kevlar midwoofer gives Stream 1 a coherent and dynamic character across the complete frequency range.
Compact Design with Room-Filling Performance
With a sensitivity of 89 dB and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, Stream 1 can be partnered with a broad range of integrated amplifiers and modern streaming amplifiers. Audio Physic recommends amplifier power between 20 and 120 watts.
The speaker’s frequency response extends from 42 Hz to 40 kHz, providing convincing bass weight for a compact enclosure together with extended and highly resolved treble reproduction.
Designed for Modern Music Systems
The Stream series was developed to work especially well with modern all-in-one streaming amplifiers. This makes it possible to build a refined and straightforward system using only a source-amplifier and a pair of Stream 1 loudspeakers.

The loudspeakers are available in three finishes: painted Satin White, painted Satin Black and Walnut real wood veneer. A removable black magnetic fabric grille is included.
Dedicated speaker stands are available separately, allowing Stream 1 to be positioned at the correct listening height and securely supported away from nearby furniture. Audio Physic VCF vibration-control feet may also be used as an optional sound optimisation upgrade.
