Aurender A200 Essential Analog Music Server
6500,00 €
The Aurender A200 Essential Analog Music Server combines Aurender’s caching playback platform with an AKM AK4490 DAC, expandable internal music storage and variable RCA analog outputs. It supports PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and native DSD512, while coaxial and optical digital inputs, an isolated USB Audio output and Roon Ready compatibility provide flexible integration with high-performance audio systems.
Aurender A200 Essential Analog Music Server
The Aurender A200 is a compact analog music server designed to combine network streaming, local music storage, digital-to-analog conversion and volume control in one refined source component. It offers the core Aurender experience in a more accessible format, making it an ideal choice for listeners building a high-performance digital audio system without requiring separate server, streamer and DAC components.
With variable unbalanced RCA analog outputs, the A200 can be connected to a preamplifier or integrated amplifier. Its DAC-level volume control also allows direct connection to a power amplifier, providing a simple and space-efficient foundation for a complete digital music system.
Integrated AKM Digital-to-Analog Conversion
The A200 features an AKM AK4490 DAC in a single-stereo configuration. The integrated converter supports high-resolution locally stored music and streamed content while eliminating the need for a separate external DAC.
The analog outputs support PCM playback up to 32-bit/768kHz and native DSD up to DSD512. MQA Full Decoder functionality is also integrated for compatible MQA files and streams.
Fully Linear Power Supply
A fully linear power supply architecture uses three separate toroidal transformers for the processor, DAC and FPGA circuitry. Extensive internal shielding helps prevent electrical noise generated by the server section from reaching the sensitive digital-to-analog conversion and analog output stages.
A supercapacitor-based uninterruptible power supply protects the operating system and installed storage if mains power is unexpectedly interrupted, allowing the A200 to shut down safely.
FPGA-Based Precision Clocking
The A200 uses an FPGA-based precision clock system with a low-jitter TCXO reference. Precise timing of the digital audio signal helps preserve detail, spatial information and musical coherence during playback.
Flexible User-Installable Music Storage
Two internal 2.5-inch storage compartments allow the owner to install compatible HDD or SSD drives according to the required music library capacity. Up to two 8TB SSDs can be installed for a total potential capacity of 16TB, while users who primarily listen through streaming services can leave both compartments empty.
A separate 240GB NVMe solid-state drive is dedicated to the operating system and playback cache. Music selected for listening is transferred to solid-state memory before playback, reducing storage-drive activity and creating a stable environment for audio processing.
Music stored on a NAS, external USB hard drive or USB memory device can also be played or imported through the network connection and two rear-panel USB 3.0 data ports.
Variable RCA Analog Outputs
The A200 provides high-quality single-ended RCA analog outputs with DAC-level volume control. It can operate with a conventional preamplifier or integrated amplifier, or function as a digital source and volume controller when connected directly to a compatible power amplifier.
Digital Inputs for External Sources
An RCA coaxial input and an optical Toslink input allow external digital components to use the A200’s internal DAC. A compatible CD transport, television or other digital source can therefore be integrated into the same audio system without requiring an additional digital-to-analog converter.
Dedicated Isolated USB Audio Output
A dedicated USB Audio output allows the A200 to function as a music server and digital transport with an external USB DAC. The connection is physically and electrically isolated from the processor section to reduce the transfer of unwanted electrical noise between components.
The USB Audio output supports PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz, native DSD up to DSD512 and DSD256 through DoP.
Aurender Conductor and Integrated Streaming
Music selection, library navigation and system control are handled through the Aurender Conductor application for compatible mobile devices. The interface provides unified access to internally stored music, NAS libraries, connected USB storage and supported online streaming platforms.
Integrated services include TIDAL, Qobuz and Internet Radio, together with Spotify Connect and AirPlay compatibility. The Aurender A200 is also Roon Ready and can operate as a certified analog or USB audio endpoint within a compatible Roon system.
Critical Listening Mode
Critical Listening Mode disables the front-panel display, control buttons and non-essential background processes during playback. Reducing unnecessary system activity creates a quieter operating environment for focused music listening.
Colour Display and Machined Aluminium Chassis
The front panel features a 6.9-inch wide IPS colour display with a resolution of 1280 × 480 pixels. It presents album artwork and playback information through a clean and easy-to-read interface.
The electronics are housed in a compact machined aluminium chassis designed to provide mechanical stability and shielding. Available in black and silver finishes, the Aurender A200 offers an accessible entry into Aurender’s analog music server range without sacrificing the brand’s caching playback system, linear power supply or integrated high-resolution DAC.

Build a Digital Source System with Aurender
Aurender is designed for customers who treat the digital source as a serious hi-fi component. A well-chosen music server or network player can become the foundation of the whole system, especially when it is paired with a high-quality DAC, suitable digital cables, stable network infrastructure and carefully matched amplification. For systems with an external DAC, Aurender music servers and digital-output streamers are a strong choice. For customers who prefer a simpler one-box digital source, Aurender also offers models with built-in DAC sections and analogue outputs. This makes the brand suitable both for compact systems and for reference-level digital front ends.Recommended categories for building an Aurender-based system:- Music Servers - Network Players & Streamers - DACs - Network Audio - Digital Cables - Network CablesTo discuss the right Aurender solution for your system, contact us.
