Nordost White Lightning 3 Power Cord is part of the Nordost Leif 3 series and is designed for audio components that use a Figure-8 / IEC-C7 power connection.
Unlike standard IEC power cables used with many full-size hi-fi components, this cable is intended for equipment with a compact Figure-8 socket. This makes it suitable for many lifestyle audio products, compact streamers, wireless speakers, powered speakers, music systems, DACs and other compatible devices.
White Lightning 3 Power Cord brings Nordost’s cable design philosophy to systems where a Figure-8 power connection is required. It uses Micro Mono-Filament construction, OFC conductors and FEP insulation, with the aim of supporting clean, stable AC power delivery while reducing the influence of EMI and RF interference.
A power cable is not a tone control and should not be treated as a magic upgrade. However, in a well-matched system, improving the quality of the power connection can help create a cleaner foundation for the connected component to perform at its best.
This cable is especially relevant if your system uses compact or lifestyle components but you still want to approach power delivery with the same care as signal and speaker connections. It can also be a logical first step before moving further into higher Nordost Leif 3 power cables such as Purple Flare 3, Blue Heaven 3 or Red Dawn 3.
Before ordering, please check that your device uses a Figure-8 / IEC-C7 power socket. If your component uses a standard IEC-C13 socket, another Nordost power cord model will be required.
