Eversolo AMP-F8 Power Amplifier
The Eversolo AMP-F8 is a high-performance Class AB stereo power amplifier designed to provide substantial power, precise loudspeaker control and low-noise operation for serious hi-fi systems. Developed as part of Eversolo’s expanding audio ecosystem, it can be partnered with a dedicated preamplifier, DAC with variable output or one of Eversolo’s streaming preamplifiers to create a powerful separates-based music system.
Powerful Class AB Amplification
The AMP-F8 delivers 180 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 280 watts per channel into 4 ohms in stereo operation. For systems requiring even greater output from a single channel, bridged operation provides up to 500 watts into an 8-ohm load.
This substantial power reserve makes the amplifier suitable for a wide range of loudspeakers, including larger floorstanding designs and models with more demanding impedance characteristics.
Matched High-Current MOSFET Output Stage
Each channel uses three pairs of precision-matched high-current MOSFET power devices operating in parallel. This arrangement distributes current more evenly between the output devices and is designed to maintain stable linearity under changing loudspeaker loads.
The Class AB topology combines strong current delivery with the smooth operating characteristics associated with MOSFET output devices, providing the amplifier with the ability to reproduce both large dynamic swings and subtle low-level information.
800W Toroidal Linear Power Supply
A custom 800-watt toroidal linear power supply provides the energy reserves required by the amplifier stages. Independent power supply design for the two channels helps reduce unwanted interaction between them and supports stable stereo imaging during demanding musical passages.
The power supply is complemented by an array of 24 custom audio-grade filter capacitors, providing substantial energy storage and fast transient current delivery when the music demands it.
Integrated DC Blocking Circuit
The AMP-F8 incorporates a DC blocking circuit designed to reduce the effects of DC offset present on the AC mains supply. DC contamination can cause mechanical vibration and audible noise from large toroidal transformers, so controlling it helps provide a quieter and more stable operating environment for the amplifier.
Low Distortion and High Signal-to-Noise Ratio
Total harmonic distortion is specified as low as 0.003%, while the signal-to-noise ratio reaches 115 dB. The amplifier also uses a dual differential architecture with symmetrical circuitry and precision negative feedback to suppress common-mode noise and external interference while maintaining stable linearity.
Damping Factor Above 400
A damping factor of more than 400 gives the AMP-F8 strong electrical control over connected loudspeaker drivers. This is particularly useful with large bass drivers, where effective control of cone movement can contribute to tighter transient response and better-defined low frequencies.
Balanced XLR and RCA Connectivity
The amplifier provides both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue inputs, allowing it to integrate easily with a broad range of preamplifiers, DACs and network players. This makes the AMP-F8 suitable both for new systems and for upgrading an existing integrated or separates-based setup with dedicated power amplification.
Dual Analogue VU Meters

Solid Aluminium Construction

Natural convection cooling avoids the need for cooling fans, helping the amplifier remain quiet during long listening sessions while maintaining stable operation under demanding loads.
