The Girl In The Other Room is a studio album by Canadian jazz pianist and vocalist Diana Krall. Originally released in 2004, it marked a more personal and contemporary direction for Krall, combining jazz, vocal standards, original material and carefully chosen songs by writers such as Tom Waits, Joni Mitchell, Mose Allison and Elvis Costello.

This 2LP edition includes Stop This World, The Girl In The Other Room, Temptation, Almost Blue, I’ve Changed My Address, Love Me Like A Man, Black Crow, Narrow Daylight and Departure Bay. The album has a more intimate, reflective character than some of Krall’s earlier songbook recordings, with expressive vocals, piano-led arrangements and a quiet late-night atmosphere.

This 2LP vinyl reissue was released by Verve on 14 July 2016. The edition presents the album as a 180 gram vinyl pressing across two records, giving the recording a spacious and relaxed presentation.
