The MIP200 provides superior AC power protection with advanced line-to-neutral protection, utilizing a thermally protected metal-oxide varistor (TPMOV) to eliminate the common failure modes found in standard MOVs. In addition to surge protection, the MIP200 offers electromagnetic interference (EMI) filtering and programmable over/under voltage protection. This sophisticated protection system automatically switches off the outlets when unsafe voltage levels are detected and turns them back on only when the voltage is restored to safe operating levels.
Designed to accommodate various global power standards, the MIP200 is available with either 4 Type B1 (NEMA 5-15R) outlets with 2 receptacles each, or 4 Type F1 (CEE 7/3 or “Schuko”) outlets with 1 receptacle each. An always-on, unswitched outlet ensures continuous power to critical components, while the remaining outlets can be managed via the front panel, remote operation through the rear panel Power Control or RS232 ports, or configured as additional always-on outlets. Programmable delays for each outlet minimize inrush current, ensuring a safe startup for all connected devices and reducing the risk of tripping a circuit breaker.
The MIP200 is designed for seamless integration into custom install home theater or whole-home audio systems. Its 2U rack-mountable form factor ensures easy installation, making it a perfect fit for any high-end audio setup.
