Abbey Road is the eleventh studio album by The Beatles, originally released in 1969.
The album is one of the band’s most iconic and enduring works, combining rock, pop, progressive studio craft and the famous second-side medley into a final creative peak from the group’s recording years. It includes tracks such as Come Together, Something, Maxwell’s Silver Hammer, Oh! Darling, Octopus’s Garden, I Want You (She’s So Heavy), Here Comes The Sun, Because, You Never Give Me Your Money, Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight, The End and Her Majesty.
This 50th Anniversary Edition LP was released by Universal on 27 September 2019. The edition features the 2019 stereo album mix, newly mixed by Giles Martin and Sam Okell, sourced directly from the original eight-track session tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl.
