On a good hi-fi system, Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We? should sound open, intimate and atmospheric: Dolores O’Riordan’s voice remains firmly focused while clean guitars, bass and restrained percussion create a spacious backdrop. The album’s combination of delicate dynamics and melodic guitar textures makes tracks such as Dreams and Linger particularly rewarding.
