The Doors – Waiting for the Sun Analogue Productions 45RPM 2LP

The Doors – Waiting for the Sun Analogue Productions 2LP

The Doors released Waiting for the Sun in 1968 as their third studio album. It became the band’s first No. 1 album in the United States and features some of their most enduring songs, including Hello, I Love You, Love Street, The Unknown Soldier, Spanish Caravan and Five to One.

This exceptional audiophile edition from Analogue Productions presents the album across two 180 g vinyl records at 45 RPM. The greater groove space available at 45 RPM allows for increased dynamics, finer detail and improved transient response, making this edition particularly suitable for revealing high-resolution audio systems.

The album was mastered by Doug Sax using an all-tube mastering system and overseen by original Doors producer and engineer Bruce Botnick. Cut from the original analogue master tapes and pressed at Quality Record Pressings (QRP), this edition was created with a fully analogue signal path from the master tape through to the cutting stage.
